Parkway Veterinary Clinic boasts 4,000 square feet of space dedicated to the most current advancements in the care of our patients. We have four examination rooms, an extensive pharmacy, laboratory, and a radiology suite that features digital x-ray. In addition, our double surgical suite includes three anesthesia machines, an oscilloscope, a pulse oximeter, a ventilator, a suction unit, micro cautery, and 10-lead ECG capability.

In the treatment room, our state-of-the-art ICU unit helps maintain oxygen, humidity, and ambient temperature for our most critical patients. Patients who are more stable are managed either in the treatment area or in the adjacent isolation ward should they be considered contagious. This space also has a special dental area, where we perform dental cleaning, polishing, and extractions. To set up a consultation call us at 703-323-9020.

Practice Philosophy

Preventative medicine is the cornerstone of our practice as we strive to maintain healthy pets. Annual physical and dental exams, vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal exams, and control of external parasites (fleas and ticks) are recommended.
At Parkway Veterinary Clinic we also provide nutritional guidance, behavioral advice, and specific observations tailored to your pet's individual needs. Puppy or kitten visits may require some additional time as we strive to answer all of your questions and prepare you for possible future issues.

Geriatric patients have special needs and are encouraged to visit semi-annually for a more extensive workup, including a screening ECG, blood work, urinalysis, and X-rays. To schedule an appointment with one of our professional veterinarians, call 703-323-9020.

With all pet patients, the goal is to detect and treat illness as soon as possible and to be aware of the significance of changes as they occur. Through sound advice, optimal veterinary care, and client education, we hope to help you enjoy your companion for many years.
