The Best in Boarding Services

The Best in Boarding Services

Available for dogs and cats, our facility provides trustworthy care for your pets while you are away. Boarders are checked regularly to assure their well-being during their stay with us, and should a staff member become concerned about your pet, the issue will be addressed by one of our doctors.

Your canine companion will get plenty of exercise with an outdoor walk at least four times daily. Indoor runs, as well as an outdoor "off leash" pen, are also available. For kitties, we provide a number of cat "condos", with perches for them to survey their surroundings, and a "walk-through" to a second cage. You can rest assured that your pet will be well taken care of by the professional staff at Parkway Veterinary Clinic

Boarding Details

All boarders are fed and medicated according to your specifications. Special services or medical procedures can be performed by simply arranging for these when you make the reservation. We require detailed contact information, so that we may reach you with any questions or concerns we may have while caring for your companion. For additional information, call (703) 323-9020.

Additionally, proof of current vaccinations is required for all Boarders to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper-parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines, and cats must be current on rabies and distemper (upper respiratory) vaccines. We recommend that you call early for reservations because we tend to book up quickly for holiday and summer boarding.

Emergency and Intensive Care

Should your pet require 24-hour care, you may be asked to transport your pet to one of our local emergency hospitals so that veterinary care is closely monitored throughout the night. Your veterinarian will contact the emergency hospital to assure the continuity of care prior to your arrival.

In the event your pet has an emergency after hours, we recommend that you contact one of several local emergency hospitals. These clinics are not affiliated with Parkway Veterinary Clinic but can provide valuable services and guidance.
